Su Bi Ying's Biography & Awards:

Su Bi Ying, graduated from Fine Arts College of Shanghai University. She is a versatile, hard-working and prolific painter, good at figure, landscape and flower & bird painting also early form her own unique style. Her works appear lyrical and romantic, with superb technique and lively artistic conception. She is skilled in merging different techniques and freely apply to her paintings which have exuberant, archaic and plain artistic effect.

Painter repeatedly went to Yunnan province and other place for subject matter, created many works that reflect ethnic minorities life. In the meantime, she absorbed the quintessence of folk art and digested it, then summed up the painting skills of showing modern life and formed distinct individual style. Her ink application getting more clever, painting is brightly colored and original in composition.


苏碧影，女，毕业于上海美术专科学校，擅人物、山水、花鸟，多才多艺又勤奋多产，很早就形成自己独特的画风。她的作品，笔墨洒脱精湛，气韵生动，抒情而浪漫。在人物、花鸟、山水画三大门类中，她善于通贯其中融为一体，具有纵横挥洒，浑厚、古朴、生机盎然的艺术效果。

画家曾多次到云南等地体验生活，创作不少反映少数民族生活的作品，并吸收民间艺术之营养，融会贯通，在实践中总结出表现现代生活的绘画技巧，形成了鲜明的个人风格。墨法更趋灵动，色彩明艳，构思新颖。
