Wu Zhen Zhong's Biography & Awards:

Wu Zhen Zhong, part of Chinese Artists Assosiaction and Chinese Business Culture and Arts Research Association; one of professors and painters of Lushan Centre for Arts and Cultural Exchange; honorary steward of Litterateur and Artists Association of China; steward of Hunan Association of Workers as Artists, vice president of Changning Artists Association. His biography has been embodied in the book "Chinese Hall of Fame Across the Centuries". Being good at Chinese painting as well as woodcut in all categories, Wu created lots of excellent art works that were exhibited at home and abroad. Part of them was given awards.

In 1991,the woodcut "A New Attraction" was given award of the 10th Woodcut Exhibition held by Chinese Artists Association.

In 1992,the woodcut "Going Up to the Jinggang Mountain" was given award of the 11th Woodcut Exhibition held by Chinese Artists Association.

In 1996,the traditional painting "Grandparents and Grandchildren" was given the third prize of Hunan Art Exhibition for Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Communist Party of China, and gold award of the Exhibition of Physical Culture na Fine Arts.

In 1999, the woodcut "the Shuikou Mountain Labour Movement" given gold award of Hunan Art Exhibition for Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Foundation of the People's Repblic of China.

In 2000, the traditional painting "Commando In the Depths of the Earth" was awarded and published on the book for the Joint Laborer Art Exhibition of China and Japan and Korea.

In 2006, the traditional painting "Moonlight" was given the third prize of 1st Hunan Neishen Fine Arts Competition and was published on its book.

From 1992 through 2010, the traditional paintings "Soccer Fans in Mine", "People From the Inside of the Earth", "New Town in Mines", "Against Time", and the woodcut "A New Attraction" was given the first prize of the 1st to the 5th National Fine Arts of Nonferrous Metals that was held by Chinese Artists Association and China Nonferrous Metals Mining Group.


吴振中，中国美术家协会湖南分会会员，中国庐山文化艺术交流中心教授级研究院画师，中国国际文艺家协会名誉理事，中国商业文化艺术研究会会员。湖南省职工美术家协会理事，湖南省常宁市美术家协会副主席，入编《中国跨世纪杰出人物》。擅长中国画和版画。山水，人物、花鸟、动物，工笔、写意均出神入化，创作了大量优秀美术作品，在国内外展出刊登，多次获得大奖。

1991年版画《山河新秀》中国美协全国第十届版画展获奖；

1992年版画《上井冈》中国美协全国第十一届版画展获奖；

1996年中国画《祖孙乐》庆祝建党八十周年湖南省美展铜奖，体育美展金奖；

1999年版画《水口山工运》庆祝建国五十周年湖南省美展金奖；

2000年国画《地球深处突击队》在中国、日本、韩国劳动者美术展览会展出获奖，并专集刊登；

2006年中国画《月光曲》湖南省首届内审杯美术大赛铜奖，并专集刊登。

1992-2010年中国画《矿山球迷》、《来自地球深处的人》、《矿山新城》、《争分夺秒》、版画《山河新秀》分获中国美协和中国有色举办的全国有色美术第一届、第二届、第三届、第四届、和第五届一等奖。
