Sun Jian Ping's Biography & Awards:

Sun Jian Ping, 孙建平，字墨童，工作室名为“墨童书斋”。1959年生于济南，现为山东省书法家协会会员，济南市书法家协会会员，山东东方书画院院士，山东鹊华书画院院士，济南阳光书画院副院长。

出于天赋，自幼酷爱书法，其书法初学颜、柳、后上朔二王，魏碑、汉隶，尤喜爱小楷。博采众长，融会贯通，书艺日臻成熟，逐渐形成了潇洒狂放，坚挺自如的艺术风格。近年来书法作品参加全国、省、市等专业性书画大展并获奖，诸多佳作入集并礼赠海内外友人。

Sun Jian Ping, also called Mo Tong, the studio is called "Mo Tong Shu Zhai". He was born in Ji Nan in 1959.

He is currently a member of the Shandong Calligraphers Association, a member of the Jinan Calligraphers Association, an academician of the Shandong Oriental Painting and Calligraphy Academy, an academician of the Shandong Huahua Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and a vice president of the Jinan Sunshine Painting and Calligraphy Academy.

He loved calligraphy from childhood. Learning starting from "Yan","Liu‘’ style, Then style of Er Wang”, Bei script of Wei Dynasty, official script of Han Dynasty, especially loved small regular script. Learn from others and have his own unique style. In recent years, calligraphy works have participated in national, provincial and municipal professional calligraphy and painting exhibitions and won prizes. Many masterpieces have been collected or presented to friends at home and abroad.
