Mo Yun Shuang's Biography & Awards:

Mo Yun Shuang, often called Lao Mo, born in Lin Gui county in Guangxi province. He love painting since his childhood. He study hardly and like learning from others, which helps developing his own style. He particularly is very good at painting plum blossom painting and bamboo painting. His artworks possess natural grace, broad and vigorous. He was taught by the famous artists like Wang Cheng Xi, Sun Qi Feng and Jiang Dan. With years of painting, now he is one-of-a-kind in the art.

His paintings were published and noted by a few newspapers and collected by libraries.

His painting "Fragrant Snow" got the award at 95 China Sports Calligraphy and Chinese Painting Exhibition;

In 1995 his painting "Welcoming the Spring" was collected at China Contemporary Famous Painting and Calligraphy Artists Collecting Book;

In December of 2005 he took a exhibition of plum blossom paintings at Singapore;

In June of 2006 he took a exhibition at China Taibai and got popular welcoming and honors.


莫运双，笔名老墨，1968年出生，广西临桂人。自幼酷爱绘画，虚心好学，博采众长，风格上自成一体，尤其擅长画梅花和竹子，作品苍劲飘逸、大气厚重，并得到王成喜、孙其峰、姜丹等名家精心指教,经过几十年不懈努力，如今在艺术领域已是独树一帜。

作品曾被多家新闻媒体发表，数家图书馆收藏。

作品《香雪图》荣获“九五中国体育书画大展”组委会颁发优秀奖；

1995年《报春图》收录于中国现代书画名家精品润格（珍藏本）；

2005年12月，在新加坡首都新加坡市举行百梅展；

2006年6月在中国台北举行梅竹展，影响甚大，并受到广泛好评。
