Liu Wei's Biography & Awards:

Liu Wei, Lu Wei, a native of Beijing that was born in 1955. When he was a student, Liu had a chance to studied Chinese painting with the master Zhang Yiqian, and kept studying until 2001. Now Liu is the national first-grade artist, the painter of Chinese calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, part of CASA (Chinese Association of Stage Art) and Shaan'xi Theatre Association. Good at depicting figure, horse, and beautiful lady.

He was given first prize of Shaan'xi Art Show of sent-down youth, and his works were published on Yan'an Illustrated in 1977. Afterwards, he became a designer during his term of military service, and was awarded a lot in various army-wide exhibitions. In 2013, one of his painting 'The White Horse' won praise of art insiders.



刘伟，1955年出生，北京市人，毕业于西安工程大学艺术学院。国家一级美术师，现任中国书画研究院画师，中国舞台美术协会会员，陕西省戏剧家协会会员。

自幼喜画，1973年至2001年追随国画大师张义潜先生学习中国画，1977年参加陕西省知识青年美术展览，获一等奖，其作品发表在延安画刊，随后在海军部队服役任美术创作员，多次参加全军美术展览，并多次获奖，各种画刊报刊均有作品发表，其作品被台湾和新加坡人士收藏。

其擅长人物、仕女、骏马的创作，2013年创作的《白马图》受到业内人士的好评。
