Li Tao's Biography & Awards:

Li Tao, born at Qinghai in 1944, now is senior fellow of Chinese traditional culture Institute, assistant secretary general of Gansu Oriental Painting and Calligraphy Institute, researcher of Tengwang Pavilion Art club, also a Landscape Painter.

He was influenced by his family since very young, love to paint very much. He study really hard and show a talent of drawing. With dedication to the arts, he visit many master and travel all around the world during ten years.

He focus on the Inheritance of traditional skill, but also combine with the understanding and thinking to the art, bold composition and never quit innovation, to form his own unique style. His landscape works appears as strong and solid as northern landscape, also appears as delicate as southern landscape


李涛

1944年生于青海，现为中华传统文化研究院高级院士，甘肃东方书画院副秘书长，滕王阁文社研究员，山水画家。

自幼受到家庭艺术薰陶，酷爱书画艺术。勤奋好学的他，少年时期即显露出众的绘画才能。数十年间，他师从各派山水画名家，博采众长，凭着对艺术的执着，长期跋涉于名山大川，笔耕不辍。

他注重继承传统笔墨技法，同时又融其对艺术的理解与思索，大胆构图，不断创新，形成了独特的绘画风格。他的作品用墨生动，烟云浮现，气势宏大，既具北派山水之雄厚，又具南派山水之清秀，在当今中国山水画坛独树一帜。
