Huang Ri Gao's Biography & Awards:

Huang Ri Gao, was born in 1974 in Guilin. He loves drawing very much since he was young. His major was Chinese Painting in college. After he graduated from the art institute of Guangxi Normal University, he had further education in Chinese Painting institute of China Central Academy of Fine Arts. He studied from many famous masters, kept learning and practising, and laid a good traditional Chinese Painting foundation.

During his Chinese Painting working, he toured many famous mountains in China and sketched a lot from nature. He used his concise and smart skills as well as profound culture details to vividly discribe a harmonious nature which combines beautiful and nervous characters. He formed his own special style and created many excellent landscape artworks which combines deep tradition and the flavor of new times, many of them were collected by regional or national leaders and friends from HongKong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, etc.

In 2003, his artwork was selected into the “Goldcolor-Prize” Works exhibition held by The China Federation of literary and Art Circles and The China Artist Association.
In 2004, his artwork was selected into 2000 National Chinese-Painting Works Exhibition.
In 2004, his artwork won Excellent-prize in The National Youth Calligrapgy and Art Exhibition which was held by The China Artist Association to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
In 2005, his artwork was selected into “The love to LakeTai” Exhibition held by The China Artist Association .
In 2008, his artwork won “Excellent-Prize” in the National Landscape Works Exhibition.

Now he is a member of The China Calligraphy and Painting Association, and The Chinese Painting Artist Association and Guilin Artist Association of Guangxi Province.

1974年生于广西桂林，自幼酷爱绘画，1995年毕业于广西师范大学艺术系国画班。后进修于中央美术学院国
画系，历经多位名师指导和自己不断研习，打下了坚实的传统中国画基础。

在创作国画中，他通过遍游祖国名山大川的大量写生，师法大自然，以凝炼灵动的笔墨，深厚的内涵，生动
地构出了大自然的刚健与和谐，秀美的娇娆，形成自己独特的风格，创作出拥有深厚传统与新时代气息的许多
优秀山水画作品。多次被香港、台湾、日本、南韩、新加坡等国家、地区领导及友人收藏。

2003年作品入选中国文联和中国美协主办的“金彩奖”作品展；
2004年作品入选2000年全国国画作品展；
2004年作品获中国美协主办的“庆祝中华人民共和国成立55周年全国青年书画展”优秀奖；
2005年作品入选中国美协主办“太湖情”提名展；
2008年作品获文化部“中国山水画联展”优秀奖。

现为中国书画家联谊会会员，中国国画家协会会员，广西桂林美术协会会员。
