Feng Zhi Guang's Biography & Awards:
Feng Zhi Guang, 冯志光，浙江温州市人，自幼喜爰书画，早年师承姜舟先生攻习花鸟画。2007年就读于中国美协花鸟画创作高级高研班，受益于张立辰 ,李魁正、霍春阳等先生指导。
2008年逬修于中国艺术研究院研究生班何水法花鸟画工作室。
2010年进修于清华大学美术学院郭石夫大写意花鸟画工作室。
2012年受教于余昌宇老师，2014年参加清华美院娄建国花鸟画工作室。
现为 中国水墨研究院院士，国家一级书画师，中国人民大字艺木研究院助理导师， 中国硬笔书法家协会会员，中国名家书画院理事。
Feng Zhi Guang was born in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province. He was fond of painting and calligraphy since childhood.In his early age, he studied flower and bird painting under Mr. Jiang Zhou.
In 2007, he studied in the Advanced Research Class of Flower and Bird Painting of the Chinese Association of Fine Arts, and benefited from the guidance of Mr. Zhang Lichen, Li Kuizheng and Huo Chunyang.
In 2008, he took a postgraduate course at He Shuifa Flower and Bird Painting Studio of the China Academy.
In 2010, he studied at Guo Shifu's Studio, Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University.
In 2012, he was taught by Mr. Yu Changyu. And in 2014, he joined Lou Jianguo Flower and Bird Painting Studio, Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University.
Now, He is an academician of the China Academy of Ink Painting and Calligraphy, a national-level calligrapher and painter, an assistant tutor of the Chinese People's Academy of Great Character and Art
and Wood, a member of the Chinese Hard-brush Calligraphers Association, and a director of the Chinese Academy of Famous Calligraphy and Painting.

In 2008, his works were selected for the National Exhibition of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Celebrating the Olympic Games, and his works were selected for the "Dan Re-Flowing", which was presented by the Olympic Organizing Committee to Olympic officials around the world.
In 2008, his work was selected for the large-scale national painting exhibition "Love Without Boundaries" to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
In 2009, his work was selected for the 2nd Contemporary Chinese Famous Flower and Bird Painters Exhibition.
In 2009, he was invited to participate in the Third Contemporary Chinese Famous Flower and Bird Painters' Works.
In 2010, his works were exhibited in the Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition of the Shanghai World Expo and won a silver medal.
In 2014, his work participated in the Seventh National Contemporary Famous Flower and Bird Painters Exhibition and won the "Good Works Award".
