Chen Dao Dong's Biography & Awards:

Chen Dao Dong, was born in 1962. Good at figure paintings which is of mixed style, combining freehand style with meticulous style, and are of Chinese traditional figures primarily, like Kuan Yu, Zhong Kui, the God of Wealth, and Maitreya. He was given a lot of awards of various provincial art exhibitions. In 1998, he won Excellence Awards of Chinese Folklore Figures Artworks Competition.

Title: Honorary Academician of Research Institute of Traditional Chinese Painting; secretary-general of Rizhao Young Artists Association.


陈道东，山东日照人，1962年出生，现为中国画研究院名誉院士，日照市青年美术家协会秘书长。

作者善画兼工带写之人物，尤以中国民间传统人物形象为作品素材，关公、财神、钟馗、弥乐佛等都为人们所喜闻乐见的形象。后师著名人物画家单伯钦画写意人物，线条转折提按，苍劲有力，墨色浓淡干湿起止得宜。

作品多次参加省市级大型画展并获奖，1998年获得“中国民间传说人物形象绘画大赛”精品奖。
